The UK Singles Chart is a music chart compiled by The Official Charts Company that calculates the best-selling singles of the week in the United Kingdom.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=The Official UK Charts Company )〕 Since 2004 the chart has been based on the sales of both physical singles and digital downloads, with airplay figures excluded from the official chart. This is a list of singles that peaked in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart during 2005 (see 2005 in British music). The date is when the song entered the top 10 for the first time. Songs that were still in the top 10 at the beginning of 2005 but peaked in 2004 are listed in List of top 10 singles in 2004 (UK). Songs that entered the top 10 in 2005 but did not peak until 2006 are listed in List of top 10 singles in 2006 (UK). ==Top 10 singles== Notes: * The dates are for when the song charted, which is six days before the officially published "Week ending" date. * Elvis Presley's 18 number-one singles were re-released each week, some as double A-sides, throughout 2005.〔 * Released in support of victims of the 2004 Asian Tsunami. * Released as official Comic Relief single. * JXL remix originally reached number-one in 2002. * Ying Yang Twins credited as featured artist on "Get Low".
